Rena passed away peacefully on the 29th December 2024 aged 93, she will be sorely missed by her family & friends. Rena held her Christian values throughout her life, she enjoyed being home league secretary at the local Cumnock corps before it closed, was an avid fundraiser and loved music, often playing in the band The family would like to thank all who gave a donation in lieu of funeral flowers at Masonhill Crematorium on 14th January, allowing us to donate £304 in Rena’s memory. Bernhard Perschke 1-9-1927 - 7-12-2023 a wise & wonderful husband father & grandfather. An admirer of the enthusiasm and energy of the youth he became mentor and trainer in business & in leisure as football coach, a sport he loved. He arrived in England as a 19yr old POW and married a local girl, our mother. When he was eventually demobbed he was welcomed and helped by the Salvation Army and his legacy is to say a simple 'thank you' and please continue in helping others. RIP Opa. Love always.
