Bernhard Perschke 1-9-1927 - 7-12-2023 a wise & wonderful husband father & grandfather. An admirer of the enthusiasm and energy of the youth he became mentor and trainer in business & in leisure as football coach, a sport he loved. He arrived in England as a 19yr old POW and married a local girl, our mother. When he was eventually demobbed he was welcomed and helped by the Salvation Army and his legacy is to say a simple 'thank you' and please continue in helping others. RIP Opa. Love always.
