In memory of Kenneth who donated yearly to the Salvation Army. We love and miss you.
RIP
I donated £500 to the SA after she passed away in December 2025. My mum and dad divorced in 1986 and we moved into a static caravan. My mum tried to make it as comfortable as possible for me and my sister, but money was extremely tight. So she contacted the SA and they provided some furniture including beds and sofa. We never forgot that, so that’s why I made a donation in memory of her and to thank the SA and hopefully help others.
Almost £1,000 raised in memory of you both. “You know we love you, don’t you” Loved and cherished always xxxxx
Stuart was a kind hearted, gentle soul and I especially enjoyed his dry sense of humour. Knowing him, it makes perfect sense that the Salvation Army was a charity special to him. Stuart gave with humility and served graciously for so many years. Look forward to seeing him again one day in the heavenly lands. Best wishes to all the family
My soulmate, Nick, has gained his angel wings. I miss his kind, generous, compassionate ways so much. He always supported the Salvation Army as they helped him as a young man struggling in Australia, as a £10 Pom. Bless you all. I've already donated in his name.
My father Gary sadly passed away on the 20th December 2025. Born on the 9th of September 1958. He was 67. My father joined the Salvation Army upon leaving school. He was an extremely caring person and the homeless and needy were very close to his heart. He would often collect food to hand out to those that needed it. He would also dress as Father Christmas and visit the sick, handing out gifts and treats. These are just some of the examples that characterised my father. He will be greatly miss
In memory of my lovely dad, a donation to The Salvation Army from his funeral collection. A cause he'd supported because they'd supported his own father's generation on their traumatic return from WWI. As the Salvation Army's support and kindness made a lifelong impact on my dad, so his support and kindness made a lifelong impact on those who knew him. Such a gentle, humble man. I wish he could have seen the outpouring of love and sorrow at his death. He was beloved.
A donation has been made in loving memory of our beautiful Mum, Jean Holgate, who joined our dear Dad Bill, her beloved husband, in heaven on 9th Sept. 2024. As well as being a loving wife and the best Mum in the world, Jean was also a Mother-in-law to William and Ju, dearly loved Nana to Lee, Nik, Saskia and Cameron and a cherished Great Nana to Chloe and Molly. She had the kindest, biggest heart, the brightest smile and is missed by us all each and every day. IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER
Remembering my Grandad Tom as we enter a new year without him.
Remembering a very Mum who provided light and guidance throughout her 100 years. Mum lived through the trauma of occupied Holland during World War II and emerged a strong person to accept the challenges of life in England. Mum was always prepared to help others and loved her immediate and extended family dearly. She was a dear wife to husband Bob whom she met during the liberation of Rotterdam. Mum lived a very long, Christian life, a life well-lived. X
In memory of our son who was helped by the Salvation Army at the BAC Partnership, we hope the donation will in some way help others.

Barrie was a quiet man who enjoyed his own company, however I had the privilege of caring for him in his final years and being with him when he passed away in a local care home. Barrie had a wicked sense of humour and although he was not a well man in later years he very much enjoyed classical music and loved talking about cats and his childhood in New Zealand. He is very much missed by all. Rest well, Barrie my dear friend.

Taken too soon. Paul was a special person, he had a great sense of humour, was kind, helpful and thoughtful. He was an especially good uncle to all his nieces, nephews and godchildren, a great brother in law and much loved husband to Penny. He will be missed so much and in our thoughts forever.
Nan’s choice to leave a gift to the Salvation Army was because of Grandad. When he was on the road, day and night, during the Berlin Airlift, the Salvation Army were always there offering hot food and drinks to keep them going. Nan and Grandad would always put some money in the tin if ever they saw the " Sally Annes" collecting in town or when the band came round at Christmas. They would be happy that this has been done. We all love and miss you both ♥️
